Dodie James has been designing and managing architectural and interior projects for over 20 years. Dodie James Design was established in 2013 and provides architectural and interior design consultation for clients in Queensland and northern NSW in addition to private research commissions.
Prior to 2013, Dodie spent over a decade running the Brisbane based practice Jamhouse Architects, designing new resort residences, tailored renovations and boutique retail projects.
During her early career Dodie worked for the highly regarded Asian based architectural practices of Kerry Hill Architects and with Cheong Yew Kuan from AreaDesign as a design consultant on hotel projects in Bali and Jakarta in Indonesia and spent two years in London with RMJM architects working on educational and resort projects.
